who is musikids?

Musikids operates on the Border of NSW & Victoria and in North Eastern Victoria and has done so for more than seven years under the direction of Kathryn Downie.

Kathryn, Wendy Eyers and Margy Brown are fully licensed and qualified teachers who make up the Musikids teaching team! Barbara Gould is also on board assisting & steering the ship!

The Musikids team

The Musikids teaching team is trained and licensed to provide carefully researched, developmentally appropriate music and movement programs for the young child– newborn to age 7.

what do musikids do

Music skills to academic skills to life skills...

Research proves that early integration of music into your child’s daily routine means improving his ability to think, reason, create and express. Music nurtures a child’s cognitive, emotional, social, language and physical development.

Many studies have proven that early exposure to Music can help make a person ‘smarter’.  The Musikids Team has seen this happen first hand!

where is musikids

Musikids offers classes in three locations.

  • Albury-Wodonga: The Slab Hut, on Gateway Island, Lincoln Causeway.
  • Corowa: The CWA Hall, River St. (opposite the IGA supermarket)
  • Wangaratta: St Michael's Church Hall, Corner of Appin and O'Leary streets.

Our Time and Musikids has brought a love of music into my life and our family. I believe that it has encouraged our son Jack to speak clearly and also love singing and dancing.

Ella and I started Musikids in 2007 and right from the first lesson we had a ball!  As soon as we arrive Ella’s eyes light up and she is captivated by Kathryn from the time we arrive to the time we go home.
