Musikids wins top award

Musikids kicks off term 4 with the some exciting news. At the recent Kindermusik educators conference on the Sunshine Coast, Musikids was named the largest Kindermusik program in Australia and New Zealand. It was one of four awards Musikids took home from the gala night. Read more here.

Musikids at the Children's Fair

Musikids will again be at the City of Wodonga Children's Fair to be held at the Wdoonga Racecourse on Sunday, October 12, from 10am to 3pm.

The children's fair is a free event for the family and will features acclaimed children's performers The Jitterbugs, Rhythm Island and the Code One Police Rock Band.

Don't forget the Musikids Open Day

Musikids will be holding an Open Day on Saturday, July 19 from 9am to 12pm at the Slab Hut, Gateway Village, Wodonga. There will be performers and free classes. Bring your friends.

Our Encore on Keys and Young Child students will be performing and there will be a sausage sizzle.

Our young performers will be on at the following times:

• Encore on Keys Year 2 (10am)
• Encore on Keys Year 1 (10:20am)
• Young Child kids: (10:45am)

A great day to just pop in and say hello.

Enrol for term 3 on the day.

Musikids Holiday program

Program 1 (5 days):
“Music from Around the World”

(4 ½ – 7 years) - or thereabouts
- 4 ½ year olds are to be the more ‘mature’ child to grasp concepts.
*Please speak to Kathryn if you are unsure

Includes over 6 hours of music, movement, craft & fun! We use the quality Kindermusik program “Around the World” that is especially designed for children in the school holidays.

Children take home:

• CD with music from Germany, Japan, Africa, England and Mexico (27 tracks)
• Their own Instruments to keep (maracas & den den drum)
• Picture Folders
• Arts & Crafts
• Carry Bag

Child 1: $100 Siblings: $75
Monday – Friday
9am – 10:30am each day

Program 2 (2 days):
Music, Movement & Craft

Includes lots of fun Music, Movement & Craft activities. There is no particular topic or Kindermusik program incorporated – just Kathryn’s expertise! The activities on Mon/Tues will be exactly the same on Wed/Thurs.

$35 each child
Monday – Tuesday 11am – 12:30pm each day
Wednesday – Thursday 11am – 12:30pm each day

Winter Update

It's that time of the year again - how time has flown.

Deposit due now
Your deposit is due now to guarantee your Semester 2 place. To ensure all kit numbers are correct at the time classes begin next semester and that your child has a place, please forward your deposit before Friday, June 20. Balance is due the first week of term.

Surveys
We have extended the deadline for the return of the musikids surverys due to the Queen’s birthday long weekend. Surveys should now be returned by Friday, June 20. Don’t forget there are gold class tickets up for grabs, If you haven’t received a survey and would like to fill one out and give us your feedback, see Barb at the Slab Hut or your musikids educator.

Musikids Open Day

Musikids will be holding an Open Day on Saturday, February 2 at the Slab Hut at Gateway Village on the Lincoln Causeway in Wodonga.

Come along between 8.30am and 12pm to find out what Musikids is all about and to attend a free class.

And don't forget - classes for 2008 start on Monday, February 4.
